What is a night at The PaintBar like?

It’s a fun time for all! Bring your favourite bottle of wine and we’ll organise everything else you require for a feel-good painting session with family or friends! Our resident Artists will teach you step-by-step how to create your own masterpiece using painting techniques that everyone can learn! The best thing? There is no experience necessary. What is included in the cost?

The price includes everything you require to create your own masterpiece, from the canvas to the easels, aprons and brushes and of course, paint! Anything you would like to drink, is BYO, and we do have glassware and refrigeration available for your beverages.

Should I make a booking?

We have limited seating, so we do require booking in advance. Check out The Calendar to pick your painting and book online.

When should I arrive?

We recommend coming in approximately 10-15 minutes early, so you can grab your supplies, find your seat and get ready to make your masterpiece! We usually begin painting approximately 10-15 minutes after the class has started.

If I book with friends, can we sit together?

Absolutely! If you book multiple seats, we will aim to put you on the same table or as close as possible depending on the size of your group. We will do everything we can to make your experience as great as it can be!

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing something that’s comfy but that you also wouldn’t mind getting a little bit of paint on!

Do I have to paint what the artist paints during the session?

You can paint whatever you wish! We encourage you to embrace your creative side and if you choose to change the colours, shapes or create something original, we are happy for you to do so! Our Artists are there as a guide to lead and will help you as you see fit.

What if I need to cancel?

You may cancel or reschedule, up to 48 hours prior to your session. Please contact us at info@paintbar.com.au and we can reschedule your booking for you.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule within the 48-hour window prior to your allocated booking, note that there is a $25 re-booking fee per seat. Also, no-shows will still be charged the full amount without refund.

Group Bookings may be cancelled up to 1 week before the scheduled session; otherwise each seat will incur a $25 re-booking fee.

Can I purchase wine or beer at The PaintBar?

No, we are BYO only. Don’t forget to bring your bottle!

Can I host a private party or function at The PaintBar?

Are children allowed at the events?

To attend our public sessions, you should be 18 or older. If you would like to attend a family paint session, you can book a private event or we have weekly All-Ages sessions. Email us to find out more at info@paintbar.com.au

Can we bring our own food?

We do have snacks available for purchase incuding chocolate, chips, water and soft drink varieties. We do permit BYO odourless snack food only.

How long does each session go for?

Each class will run for approximately 2.5-3 hours. Plenty of time for you to perfect your painting!

Kids Paint: Does the Parent/Supervisor paint as well?

We recommend ages 7-15 with Adult Supervision and classes are designed for both the Parent and Child to participate in the painting, with each individual completing their own painting.
